Worldview Perspective

Cultural wellness is the awareness, appreciation, and respect for one’s own culture as well as the cultures and traditions of others. It involves embracing diversity, valuing different perspectives, and building inclusive and respectful relationships within the community. Cultural wellness encourages openness, reduces prejudice and bias, and promotes a sense of identity, belonging, social connection, and harmony among diverse groups of people.

Biblical Worldview Perspective

 “The Global Multitude”

“ A great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb , clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:9-10)  The ultimate biblical vision of wellness includes people from “every nation, tribe, people and language” standing together.

“Healing to a Nation” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

The Bible presents a vision of cultural wellness that embraces diversity while prioritizing spiritual unity in Christ. It encourages believers to evaluate cultural practices through the lens of Scripture while showing respect, love, and compassion toward others. The Bible promotes engagement with society in ways that reflect God’s truth and character, ultimately viewing cultural diversity as part of God’s creation that can be united in worship and fellowship.
